A beautiful White Pearl is held by four prongs of high polish, implant grade titanium, PVD coated with 24karat gold. PVD coatings are more resistant to corrosion from sweat and regular wear than gold plating. These elegantly simple tops are available in 2mm or 3mm.
The gold color, once deposited, stays bonded to the titanium, and does not flake or wear off. Gold PVD is not the same as gold plating, though the two are often confused, as it is more durable and long-lasting. It has a high resistance to daily wear and tear, and is an attractive, more affordable option to solid gold jewelry. 24kt gold is the purest form of gold.
